Why the name Decisiontect

Decisiontect is a coined name. Read at the door, it is Decision + Architect: the one who builds a decision before making it.

Underneath, its ending carries two old roots. From Greek, tekton, the builder, as in arkhitekton, the chief builder. From Latin, tectum, a roof, from tego, to cover. The two are one story: the builder raises the roof. Whoever builds a decision this way raises a structure over it that shelters it from volatility.

Decisiontect is the name BC-DS gives to its app, to the method as BC-DS ships it, and to its certification path. The field it serves, decision architecture, is open.
